Privacy Policy

SmartAI is a small team. We collect only what we need to reply to you and improve our products. We don't run ads, sell data, or track you across the web.

Who we are

SmartAI operates the website at smartaiexpert.com and is building AI-powered mobile apps for everyday people. If you have any questions about this policy, email us at info@smartaiexpert.com.

What we collect and why

We only collect information you actively send us. There is no passive tracking, ad targeting, or user profiling on this site.

Contact form

When you send us a message through /contact, we collect:

  • Your name — so we know who we're talking to.
  • Your email address — so we can reply.
  • Your phone number — optional, and only if you provide it for a callback.
  • Your message and the topic you chose (e.g. Partnership, Feedback, Support).

We use this information only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list. Submissions are stored by Formspree — see Third-party services below.

Feedback form

When you leave feedback, we collect:

  • A mood rating (1–5).
  • A freeform suggestion (optional).

We use this to understand how visitors feel about our work. Feedback submissions are also stored by Formspree.

Server logs

Firebase Hosting (operated by Google) automatically records standard web server data when you visit any page — your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and the page you came from. SmartAI does not actively monitor or analyse these logs; they are retained by Google according to Firebase's standard policies.

Third-party services

This site relies on a small number of third-party services. Each handles data under its own privacy policy. By submitting a form, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Formspree

All form submissions are sent over HTTPS and stored on servers operated by Formspree, Inc. (USA). SmartAI receives your submission by email and does not share it with any other party. Formspree may apply automated spam detection to protect the service from abuse.

Firebase Hosting (Google)

This site is served by Firebase Hosting, a service operated by Google LLC. As noted above, Google records standard server-level data (IP address, browser, page) for each request. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not SmartAI's.

Google reCAPTCHA v3

The contact form is built to support Google reCAPTCHA v3, an invisible spam-prevention service (no checkbox, no challenge). When active, reCAPTCHA sends device and interaction data to Google for risk analysis. reCAPTCHA is not currently enabled on this site. This notice will be updated when it is turned on.

Cookies and local storage

SmartAI does not set any cookies. To prevent accidental form spam, your browser's local storage stores the timestamps of your recent submissions. This data never leaves your device, contains no personal information, and clears automatically after 10 minutes.

Firebase Hosting and Google reCAPTCHA (when active) may set their own cookies as part of their services. Those are governed by Google's cookie policy.

Data retention

Form submissions are held by Formspree for as long as our account remains active there, or until you request deletion. Firebase Hosting server logs are kept for a limited period under Google's standard retention schedule.

SmartAI does not maintain a separate database of visitor or contact data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold — and to object to or limit how it is used. For visitors in the European Economic Area, our lawful basis for processing contact and feedback submissions is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry and improving our products.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@smartaiexpert.com. We will respond within 30 days and will forward deletion requests to Formspree on your behalf where required.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, email info@smartaiexpert.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we make material changes. For significant changes, we will add a brief summary at the top so it is easy to see what is new.
